UNDERSTANDING PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Project Management is fast becoming a ‘buzz word’ in the work place and when properly applied, can help the business achieve greater levels of efficiency in implementing the strategy or business objectives.

Our Project Management Programme is designed to help participants understand the concept of project management, with a focus on applying the concepts at work.

The programme is based on a project simulation, providing participants with a hands-on application of their learning in a practical and safe environment.

How participants will learn

Working in a project team, participants will run a project from start to finish and present the project product or deliverables to the project client.  Participants make decisions impacting on the success of the project.  These will include decisions to manage scope changes, risks, resource utilisation, budget, product quality and many more.

Skills participants will acquire

After completing this programme participants will have a full understanding of the ‘bigger picture’ of project management and the fundamentals of project management concepts and process.  Participants will also have a solid framework to use for starting and running a project.
